Before Your Procedure
Let your doctor know if you have a cold, sinus infection, or fever.
You might be asked to stop allergy medications or decongestants beforehand.
No food or drink the morning of surgery.
After Your Procedure
Avoid blowing your nose or heavy exertion.
You may be told to sleep with your head elevated.
Use prescribed sprays or rinses as directed. They prevent crusting and help healing.
